NP-4 Irdeto Cam - Ideal Irish DTT MPEG4 - MPEG2

NP-4 Irdeto Cam manufactured by Neotion has been designed to work with official Irdeto viewing cards in satellite receivers equipped with a common interface.

In addition this cam has a very unique feature in that it will allow your IDTV to accept MPEG-4 transmissions.

Viewers in Ireland can receive DTT MPEG-4 free to air broadcasts from their STB / TV with this Cam. Of course these transmissions are subject to availability and you must be able to receive Irish DTT broadcasts (RTE, TV3, TG4) and have a receiver / tv that is Digital Terrestrial & equipped with a common interface (CI) Slot.

However please note that the NP-4 Cam is not suitable for DTT (Digital Terrestrial) use in most countries outside of the Irish Republic due to audio incomaptibilities. The Danish DTT for example demands the sound encoding HE-AAC. HE-AAC is not supported by this cam. Please ensure that you are either using this product for satellite tv use or that you have researched this product using forum information.
